I am Dr. Deanna Larson,

Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician, Life Coach. I have a passion for helping other physicians who are stuck, frustrated, and exhausted with their careers. My vision is to bring the joy back to medicine for physicians so that they can enjoy life, family, and their career.

After starting a career as an internal medicine physician over 25 years ago working in both the clinic and the hospital, I was always most interested in hospital work and when available transitioned into hospital medicine. I loved my job in spite of the long days and long call nights. I was honored to care for my patients.

I never planned to be an entrepreneur and start my own business. I just knew I was tired of having so many frustrations and roadblocks every day as I tried to help and take care of people. I was also upset with myself because all I was doing was complaining to my family and especially my daughter. My most important and proudest achievement is being a mother. My daughter makes me proud every day, and I want to make her proud of me. I know she admires that I am a successful doctor, but I also want to show her that I can adapt.

I genuinely believe that one of the keys to happiness is knowing when and how to adapt and change. I wanted her to see that I would not stay in a situation that made me dissatisfied, but I would work to reclaim career fulfillment. Through Coaching techniques I can choose to enjoy my medical practice.  Being a Life Coach, I now have the freedom to work and connect with people in a new way without forms, papers, insurance, administrators, etc.
